Hi, I'm Luke. I'm the guy who spends countless hours covered in sawdust, always looking for the next thing to design or build. Over the past decade, I've built furniture and spaces for friends, family, and clients. What started as evenings and weekends in the workshop slowly grew into East Shore Builds as more people began asking me to create pieces for their homes.
My grandpa, a carpenter, taught me a few lessons from a young age: to always pay attention to the details, how to bring your ideas to life, and to never leave the house without a baseball cap so your head doesn't get cold. Those lessons still shape the way I approach every project that comes through the shop.
Our home workshop is nestled between the gorges of Ithaca, NY, surrounded by nature and always accompanied by our two dogs, Bernie and Tootsie Roll. Everything that leaves the shop is built by hand and meant to last.
